Scoot Air, the low-cost carrier of Singapore Air, has announced a new flight path between Singapore and Seoul. Promotional fares start from US$170, all-in, one-way. Book before March 2014, or before seats are sold out, to take advantage of this deal.

“Scoot now offers both mid-night and mid-day services ex-Singapore to Taipei, and both afternoon and night-time departures ex-Taipei back to Singapore, providing guests even more choice,” said Campbell Wilson, CEO of Scoot.

Seoul is the 11th destination for Scoot and the first low-cost airline link between the two Asian destinations. The new route will operate three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from Singapore’s Changi to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, transiting for an hour in Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport. Scoot’s flight frequency between Singapore and Taipei will increase from seven to 10 flights per week.

Scoot’s network now includes Singapore, Sydney, Gold Coast, Bangkok, Taipei, Tokyo, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shenyang, Nanjing, and Seoul. In conjunction with three partner airlines, Scoot offers 36 more cities to fly to, bringing the grand total to 47.
