Singapore’s Sentosa Branches Out

Above: Local trees were conserved in the construction of the lofts.

They’re only ten minutes away from Southeast Asia’s thrumming financial center but the contrast could hardly be more marked.

Standing tall in the forest canopy of  Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa, the two new Tree Top Lofts, Angsana and Tembusu, are one-bedroom suites with a large living room, bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, and more than 90 square meters of timber terraces.

Accessible by elevator, both lofts have been lightly furnished in neutral colors that allow the suites to blend in with the greenery outside. Natural light pours in through floor-to-ceiling glass while a timber and shingle roof keeps the lofts cool.

Guests at the Tree Top Lofts will see panoramic views of Mount Faber to the north and Sentosa’s forests to the south.
