Love to shop in Paris? One area with plenty of up-and-coming designers is Le Marais, where you’ll find their boutiques alongside galleries, cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Shopping-tour packages focused on this area are now being offered by Pavillon de la Reine, a local hotel dating back to the 17th century. A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the hotel has teamed up with the concierge company Anne de Paris to offer the packages.

The first package, “Shop Like a Parisian,” includes two nights in a Junior Suite and a one-day personalized shopping tour. The price starts from about US$2,860.

The second, “The Parisian Insiders Experience,” includes three nights in a Junior Suite and a two-day shopping tour that includes a visit to a typical French market, a chocolate-making demo, and introductions to local designers for access to one-off pieces. Prices start from about US$5,587.

The rates are based on two people sharing and include breakfast and taxes.
