Coffee aficionados will delight in Singapore Airlines’ latest offering for first class and business class customers: world-renowned illycaffè coffee served onboard. SIA is the first airline in the world to serve the brand’s signature single-origin Monoarabica beans, along with a selection of its illy blend of coffees.

More than 100,000 cups of gourmet coffee are served each month aboard SIA flights and management recognized the demand for high quality coffee such as the pure beans used by the illy brand.

“The appointment of illycaffè came after months of intensive research and sourcing of coffee products that will satisfy the increasingly sophisticated and discerning palate of today’s premium travellers,” said Singapore Airlines’ Vice President Inflight Services, Maggie Li.

The special selection of single-origin products used includes the Monoarabica Ethiopia, Monoarabica Brazil, and Monoarabica Guatemala. Espresso Caffe and Espresso Caffe illy decaffeinato are also available.

Discerning premium travelers can look forward to a quality selection of coffee to match SIA’s award winning meal service.
