Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts is to expand its portfolio in Turkey with a beach resort on the waterfront in Turgutreis, approximately 20 kilometers from a planned city hotel in the center of Bodrum.

Bodrum is a popular holiday destination in the south west corner of mainland Turkey not far from the Greek island of Kos.

The company, which already has hotels in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, said the beach property would be open next year with the Bodrum city hotel following suit in 2014.
