This year, The Park Lane Hong Kong celebrates its 40th anniversary, commemorating its four decades standing as one of the city’s premier independent hotels. Located in the heart of Causeway Bay, the hotel comprises 815 guestrooms and suites, most of which look out over Victoria Harbour and Victoria Park with views of the cityscape rising high in the background. Last year, the hotel was awarded as the best business hotel in China, a product of its unflinching quality of service as well as its numerous new renovations keeping it on the top of the hotel industry: a new lobby floor, upgraded elevators and business facilities, and revamped designs of rooms and suites (including the addition of Family Rooms, which spaciously accommodate families of four), and a 28-story-high rooftop garden offering one of the city’s most breathtaking alfresco event spaces. Also on top is Riva and The Deck, a modern restaurant and outdoor lounge on the 27th floor, where rare vintages and a la carte fine-dining are served alongside live music and expansive harbor views. Existing dining options include Café One, a relaxed all-day spot offering a range of options from a Western buffet to sushi, as well as George and Co., a longstanding watering hole for cocktail-lovers around town. Special offers, guest chefs, and events are scattered throughout the remainder of the year, inviting business and leisure travelers alike to help celebrate the hotel’s birthday.
