Video Games Grow In-Flight

Gamers, rejoice! More of your favorite video game titles will be available for in-flight entertainment due to a new partnership between IFE Services and GUE Tech. In-flight entertainment provider, IFE Services, made waves in the air travel industry earlier this year when it licensed 15 games to Singapore Airlines.

Now, through the new partnership with video-game developer GUE, IFE can license and sell more than 160 high-quality games from PlayStation, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, Android, and iOS platforms to airlines. Titles including Warm Up, Fallout, Worms, Redneck Rampage, Gun Metal, and Alone in the Dark, which have already sold millions of copies are now available as in-flight entertainment. The games have all been vetted for airline entertainment systems.

“As an independent and innovative IFE provider we’re constantly monitoring the market for exciting new content suppliers on behalf of our clients,” said Andy McEwan, CEO of IFE Services. “When we came across GUE Tech’s catalogue of games we were very impressed. We now have access to the highest quality in-flight games on the market and cannot wait to demonstrate them to airlines all over the world. We know their passengers will love playing these fantastic games.”

In-flight entertainment from IFE Services covers everything from in-flight movies, TV shows, audio, and on-board shopping. Their latest venture will not only broaden their existing stronghold on in-flight entertainment, but also provide a welcome outlet for weary parents and hyperactive kids.
