Wine and Dine on Hong Kong Waterfront

Hong Kong is staging its biggest food and wine festival of the year at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade this weekend. The Wine & Dine Festival is a feast of food and wine events showcasing the city’s reputation for fine dining where visitors will find over 300 stalls offering a wide range of cuisine and wines from 18 countries. Many of the city’s preeminent chefs will be cooking up signature dishes for the public, while the Riedel Grand Tasting Pavilion offers rare and fine wines in an exclusive setting. Stay on the lookout for 30 giant wine bottles—up to four meters tall—which will be displayed at certain tourism sites. Another 11 bottles have been specially crafted by local designers to mark Hong Kong Design Year. A new addition for this year’s festival, head to the Sweet Pavilion for dessert paired with champagne, ice wine, rosé, and sweet wines.
