Yo-Yo Ma to Perform in Seoul


Above: Yo-Yo Ma has won 15 Grammy awards and played for eight U.S. presidents.

World-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma will be in South Korea on November 13 for a recital with his performance partner of 35 years, pianist Kathryn Stott, at the Seoul Arts Center. The program will feature:

  • Igor Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne
  • Manuel de Falla’s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas
  • Olivier Messiaen’s Louange á l’Eternité de Jésus
  • Johannes Brahms’s  Cello Sonata No.3 in A Major, Op.69

Tickets start from US$45 to US$165 and can be obtained via the Seoul Art Center website.
