SkyTeam airline alliance is offering a ticket for the trip of a lifetime with its “Go Round Asia and Southwest Pacific” pass. The multi-destination ticket allows passengers to take between two to 10 stops in 26 countries aboard airlines including Garuda, Delta, Korean Air, China Airlines, among others. Seats can be booked in either business or economy class up to three days in advance of the first departure and does not have to include flights to and from the point of origin. Fares are calculated based on three mileage thresholds (13,000, 17,000 and 21,000) and sample itineraries show savings from 25 to 50 percent. Each leg of the ticket must be booked before the start of the trip but flight dates and times can be changed with no extra charge. Even route changes can be made for a fee of $125 plus additional costs for any increase in mileage. The ticket must begin and end in the same country with at least one stop in Australia or New Zealand. Travelers have up to a year from the first flight to complete their journey and can choose from 26 destinations including Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Guam, and New Zealand.
