Australia: Boulia Camel Races Ready to Go on July 13


Grab your tent and set up camp at the Rodeo Grounds in the Western Queensland town of Boulia to watch Australia’s fastest camels strut their stuff from July 13 to 15. This usually sleepy town hosts thousands of visitors during the Boulia Camel Festival; they come not only to watch the races, but also to enjoy activities such as wild-camel-catching competition, skydiving demonstrations, livestock shows, and, of course, barbecues.
