Bali’s premier jazz festival, Jazz Market by the Sea, is scheduled to kick off on January 6. The annual beachside event provides a stage for both established and up-and-coming jazz musicians from Bali and beyond. This year’s performances will include Balawan, Gugun Blues, Lisa Soul, Erin Band, The Hydrant, Syaharani, and BAIO, among many others. Celebrating music and Indonesian culture, the three-day event will also feature a multitude of market stalls and attractions modeled on the concept of Bali’s traditional pasar seni, or colorful market festival.
