The world’s top bodypainters are once again ready to descend on the lakeside town of Portchach in Austria for the annual World Bodypaining Festival. Taking place from July 2 to 8, the event will see the artists compete for the world bodypainting championship title in a variety of categories, including brush and sponge, airbrush, and special effects.

Founded in 1998, the festival is more than just a display of the human body in color—but also a celebration of music, food, fashion, and art.
