AirAsia Introduces All-new Mobile App

Catering to passengers’ increasing demand for mobile access to its services, AirAsia this week launched a new and improved mobile app, which offers a much sleeker interface, better functionality, and comes with new features that may just simplify one’s travels. Available for  both iOS and Android devices, the app allows you to conveniently book tickets through your phone, check your flight status, obtain an e-boarding pass, as well as check out the latest hotel deals. You can also easily link upcoming flights to an in-app calendar to keep track of your travels and include add-ons to your bookings easily. AirAsia was among the first airlines to develop its own mobile application, introducing its first version in 2010. Today, the enhanced version of the app is available in 11 languages and have also been nominated as the world’s leading low-cost airline app for the upcoming World Travel Awards.
