AirAsia X has announced new flights to Colombo and Male that will commence on September 28. To celebrate, the low-cost carrier is offering special one-way fares starting from US$68 for economy and US$298 for premium from Kuala Lumpur to Colombo, and US$124 for economy and US$298 for premium from KL to Male. Online booking is only available until September 29 for travel until March 29, 2014.

Flights from KL to Male, Male to Colombo, and Colombo to KL will fly Tuesdays and Fridays, while flights from KL to to Colombo, Colombo to Male, and Male to KL will fly on Thursdays and Sundays.
