Airlines Team Up with Airbnb

Thanks to an exciting new partnership between a clutch of airlines and the thriving home-sharing platform, securing Airbnb reservations directly through Qantas, Virgin America, and Delta now entitles loyalty program members to earn points and rewards. Members of Qantas’ frequent flyer program are now able to receive one Qantas point per AUD$1 spent on Airbnb. Similarly, for every dollar that goes towards an Airbnb booking, Virgin America will reward one Elevate point. SkyMiles members also have a lot to look forward to; on top of Delta’s reward of one mile per US$1 spent on Airbnb, those who are new to the accommodation-listing service can enjoy a number of benefits, including 1,000 bonus miles for a first stay of at least US$150.
