American Airlines will be rolling out a new set of amenity kits in March and has partnered with several fashion and lifestyle brands for the first time for its newest design. Available for those flying first and business class in international flights and exclusively for first-class fliers in domestic flights, passengers can soon make use of a range of skincare products from C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries, 3LAB Skincare, and Clark’s Botanicals to ensure a better sense of comfort during their travels. Along with other basics like headphone covers, ear plugs, an eye shade, all items in the kit will come packed in stylish Cole Haan pouches and, what’s more, each kit will also include discount codes for a 20 percent discount off the skincare product in the kit and an additional US$75 voucher that can be used when making a Cole Haan purchase in the future.
“We’re investing billions of dollars to customize and elevate the travel experience for all of our customers, and we know our premium fliers are looking for a refined and modern experience when it comes to airline service, right down to the amenity kits for long flights,” Fernand Fernandez, American’s vice president for global marketing says. “We want to set ourselves apart from the competition, so this year we teamed up with four amazing American brands to offer a variety of amenity kits for each premium cabin in a bag they’ll want to reuse.”
