British Airways will deploy their fourth Airbus A380 plane on their direct Singapore to London route from October 28, 2014. Their twice daily route from Singapore will enjoy A380 service three times a week from Heathrow on flight BA11 Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and returning on BA12 Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from Singapore. The new double-decker aircraft is one of the quietest cabins in the sky with extra storage space, cleaner air, mood lighting, and improved entertainment systems. British Airways expects the delivery of four additional A380 planes this year with three already in service between the airline’s Heathrow hub and Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Johannesburg. An additional plane will fly to Washington D.C. from September 1. The plane will be equipped with First Class, Club World or Business Class, and World Traveler Economy Class. Tickets for World Traveler Economy Class are now on sale from US$1,050 as an introductory rate.
