British Airways has unveiled a luxurious new lounge in Dubai International Airport’s newly-opened Concourse D. The elegant space is designed using materials such as Nero black marble and European oak flooring and offers everything needed to unwind or finish up some work in between flights. A selection of hot and cold dishes along with drinks are available at the lounge’s Deli Bar, while first-class fliers will also be able to enjoy better privacy and premium offerings at the lounge’s exclusive Concorde Bar using a special pass that will be handed to them upon entering the lounge. This is British Airways’ second Concorde Bar after the opening of its lounge in Singapore’s Changi Airport last year. Other sections of the lounge can be accessed by Club World (business class) passengers, as well as Silver and Gold executive club members.

“Our premium customers flying from Dubai will be able to enjoy the airline’s newest lounge, featuring the exclusive luxury of the Concorde Bar for First customers.” said Troy Warfield, British Airways’ director of customer experience. “Our designers have created a contemporary and stylish space for Club World and First customers to relax, dine and refresh before boarding their flight to Heathrow. We have also ensured that, for the first time, every single customer has access to power and USB points throughout the new lounge to re-charge their personal electronic devices.”
