Cathay Pacific is due to begin its brand new direct service between Hong Kong and Tel Aviv from March 26, 2017. As a major financial hub that offers a wealth of attractions and easy access to ancient Jerusalem, the Israeli city draws a steady stream of both business and leisure travelers. “This new service to Tel Aviv reflects our commitment to growing the Cathay Pacific network and further strengthening Hong Kong’s position as one of the world’s great international aviation hubs,” said the airline’s chief executive, Ivan Chu.
While the route is still awaiting government approval, Cathay Pacific plans to operate the service four times a week with the Airbus A350-900 aircraft. State-of-the-art features on the A350 include extra space, enhanced entertainment system, the latest in-flight products from the airline, and Wi-Fi connection in Business, Premium Economy, and Economy classes.
