Hong Kong-based holidaymakers planning a summer vacation to Barcelona are in for a treat, as Cathay Pacific will be flying non-stop to the Spanish city from July 2 up until October 27. Operated with the airline’s new Airbus A350—which features a three-class configuration and in-flight Wi-Fi—the four times weekly route will mark the carrier’s second Spanish destination after Madrid and the first-ever direct link between the two cities. The seasonal service will leave Hong Kong International Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 12:20 a.m. and arrive in Barcelona at 07:35 a.m., while return flights will depart at 01:50 p.m. and land back in Hong Kong at 08:05 a.m. the following day. Starting this April, Korean Air will also fly to Barcelona.
