Delta Unveils World’s First All-Suite Business Class

Come next year, Delta Air Lines will be taking international business class travel to a whole new level with the launch of its all-suite business class cabin. Each of the suites will come with a full-height sliding door—a feature normally reserved for first class passengers—to provide business class fliers with their own fully enclosed private space. “Added comfort and privacy are important to business travelers, and that drove the design of the all-new Delta One suite,” said Tim Mapes, Delta’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In addition to the sliding doors, the suites will also include compartmentalized storage units, customizable ambient lighting, privacy dividers between center suites, and a high resolution in-flight entertainment system. Scheduled to debut in fall 2017 on the airline’s first Airbus A350, the new design will significantly enhance Delta’s existing features, which currently include full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access, chef-curated meals, noise-cancelling headsets, and premium amenities.
