Dragonair’s new tray table
Regional Hong Kong carrier Dragonair will begin rolling out its new First Class seating aboard select Airbus A330-300 airplanes in the first quarter of 2014. The airline, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific, will introduce direct aisle access to seats in its First Class cabin and additional side storage space. The cabin now has a greater feeling of space compared to its previous design, with calming warm-tone natural leathers and clean, sculpted lines. The new seats come equipped with a bed extension feature that deploys automatically as the seat transforms into a bed, increasing the bed width as well. The seats are ergonomically designed with traveler’s needs in mind, including positioning seat controls within reach on touch screen entertainment systems. An oversize cocktail table can be used with the main tray table to create additional work space. Each seat is equipped with a universal power supply outlet with an RCA port, iPhone or iPod connector, and a USB port. The seat upgrade comes on the heels of the airline’s new Business Class and Economy Class seats and a new inflight entertainment system, StudioKA, providing full audio and video entertainment in all classes.
