Emirates TAPs Into Europe With Portugal Deal

A reciprocal codeshare deal between Dubai-based carrier Emirates and Portugal’s flag carrier has taken effect. The agreement with TAP Portugal offers passengers greater convenience when booking tickets across a selection of routes between Asia and Europe.

Emirates’ EK code now appears on TAP Portugal–operated flights from Lisbon to both Porto and Faro in Portugal, as well as Spanish cities Seville, Madrid, and Barcelona. TAP’s TP code has been placed on Emirates’ flights between Lisbon and Dubai, as well as from the UAE hub to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.
