Etihad is now flying direct routes between Abu Dhabi and Zurich, marking the carrier’s second destination in Switzerland after Geneva. Passenger traffic between the UAE and Switzerland has nearly doubled in the past five years, and as the two countries have a strong trading relationship, the route—operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft—offers more options to travelers.
