Etihad Airways has partnered up with luxury brand Jimmy Choo to further strengthen its presence in the global fashion scene. Both companies have begun celebrating the fashion label’s 20-year milestone with a series of exciting events at John F. Kennedy International Airport and in New York City. “Our aspiration is to become the airline of choice for the global fashion community, and our collaboration with Jimmy Choo serves as a natural extension of our fashion week alignment, particularly during New York Fashion Week,” said Etihad’s Vice President of Sponsorships Patrick Pierce.
Decked out in “NYFW: The Shows” branding and adorned with Jimmy Choo’s prints on board, Etihad’s special A380 aircraft livery for New York Fashion Week was unveiled by the luxury brand’s anniversary campaign face Amber Valletta. The award-winning airline was also a supporting partner at Jimmy Choo’s 20th Anniversary VIP party, which saw the launch of a campaign video starring an impressive group of international fashion models, and a live performance by R&B artist Mary J. Blige. In addition to the exclusive event, Etihad and Jimmy Choo are collaborating with American talent agency WME-IMG to host a VIP lounge at New York Fashion Week from September 8–15. The lounge showcases a curated selection of Jimmy Choo’s most iconic footwear pieces from the past two decades, as well as snippets of the in-flight experience on board Etihad.
