Famed for its ultra-cute Hello Kitty-themed jets, Eva Air is ramping up its services to Japan. April 3 saw the launch of the Taiwanese carrier’s Taipei-Okayama route, while on May 2, a direct thrice-weekly flight from Taipei to Asahikawa, Hokkaido, will commence using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. With these additions, Eva Air will be serving 11 destinations in Japan from Taiwan with 67 flights a week.
