Hong Kong Airlines Adds Kuching to Its Network


In answer to the Sarawak capital’s shortage of international links, Hong Kong Airlines will begin a twice-weekly service to the city on May 28. Serviced by a single-class Airbus 320 aircraft, the flight marks the first direct, nonstop route between Hong Kong and Kuching, with a travel time of three hours and 35 minutes. It will depart form Hong Kong International Airport every Wednesday and Saturday at 1:30 a.m. and land in Kuching at 5:30 a.m., while return flights are scheduled to take off at 6:20 a.m. and land back in Hong Kong at 9:55 a.m.
