The Mumbai-based airline is offering daily flights between India’s largest IT hub and the Lion City from December 14. Operated on a Boeing 737, the new service has an estimated flight time of four and a half hours each way. It will be the airline’s fourth route to Singapore, after existing connections to Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai. “The introduction of this new service is in line with our goal to provide seamless connectivity between the ASEAN region and India. Both Bengaluru and Singapore are popular destinations for information technology, tourism, trade and investment, therefore it was only logical for Jet Airways to launch this new route,” said the airline’s chief commercial officer, Jayaraj Shanmugam.
