A survey has reveled that 81 percent of Singaporeans can’t live without music on a flight—what’s more, a majority would rather go without underwear than forget their headphones. In an effort to satiate Singapore’s musical yearnings Jetstar Asia, the creator of the survey, has partnered with global music streaming service Deezer to create custom playlists for passengers. Jetstar passengers between Singapore and Southeast Asia can sign up for a free two-month Deezer Premium+ subscription and access to #travelbeats, an app that generates custom playlists. The service offers unlimited access to 30 million tracks on any device, both online and offline. To create customized playlists passengers can enter their reason for travel, who their travel companions are, and their destination to receive a 20-song playlist. The service is available from until September 7 for Jetstar passengers with confirmed bookings.
