Malindo Air to Start Daily Flights to Brisbane

After much speculation by industry insiders, Malindo Air is scheduled to launch daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane via Denpasar (Bali) at the end of this month, aboard Boeing 737-800 aircraft fitted with economy and business class.

The inaugural service will depart Kuala Lumpur on March 31 at 6:05 p.m., arriving into Denpasar at 9:10 p.m. for an hourlong stopover before reaching Brisbane at 5:40 a.m. the next morning. On the return journey, the flight will leave the Australian city at 7:15 a.m. to touch down in Denpasar at 11:45 a.m., with an estimate arrival time in Kuala Lumpur at 3:45 in the afternoon.

Business class takes up just three rows, comprising 12 leather reclining seats equipped with AC and USB power ports and an 11.1-inch touchscreen PTV. Food and drinks are complimentary, as is one hour of in-flight internet access. Additional Wi-Fi usage is priced at US$10 per hour or US$16 for the duration of the journey.
