Travelers who are planning to make trips between Myanmar and Singapore in the coming months can now book their tickets, as Myanmar National Airlines this week began an early booking offer ahead of the August 17 launch of its new Yangon–Singapore route. This route will be the first international route for Myanmar’s flag carrier.
The airline has designated its new Boeing 737 aircraft, introduced in June this year, to service the route, which offers Premium Economy and Business Class cabin options. The flight runs six times weekly, excluding Saturdays, departing Yangon at 10:15 a.m. and arriving at Singapore Changi Airport at 2:45 p.m. Return flights depart from Changi at 4:00 p.m. and arrive back in Yangon at 5:30 p.m.
The pre-launch program also offers discounted tickets, with fares from Singapore beginning at US$211 and fares from Yangon at US$239.
