British Airways is the latest airline to revamp their First Class amenity kits partnering with Aromatherapy Associates to design the products. Says Kate Thornton, British Airways’ head of products and service, “What surprised us was the simplicity of the items [customers] feel are missing from the traditional wash bag.” Relying on consumer feedback, the airline chose only essential products for the kits with an emphasis on quality construction. The result is a soft, reusable wash bag in chocolate for men and beige for women emblazoned with the British Airways’ “To Fly. To Serve.” coat of arms. Aromatherapy Associates created the strategic products for the kits including female-focused products like firming eye serum to add moisture following a dehydrating flight and hydrating rose cleanser to clean and revive skin. Male kits feature revitalizing moisturizer, eye gel, and shaving tools. Both sets include necessities such as deodorant, lip balm, and hairbrushes. The products are now available on all British Airways’ First Class flights.
