Philippine Airlines will return to Europe for the first time in 15 years. The national flag carrier will provide nonstop service to London’s Heathrow starting on November 4. Using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, with 42 business-class seats and 328 economy-class seats, PAL will fly to London five-times weekly and return to Manila on the same day. The flight to London takes 14 hours, while the return-flight duration is 12 hours and 35 minutes. Currently KLM is the only carrier with flights from Europe to the Philippines. Last year, a third of the 349,000 European visitors to the Philippines came from the UK.
