An Australian airline launches more flights to Osaka, Air China goes direct to Athens, and Qatar Airways flies to Cardiff.
Qantas Says Ohayo
Japan becomes more accessible to Australians with Qantas‘s announcement that its Sydney-Osaka flights—which used to be seasonal—will become year-round flights come December 2017.

Operating three times per week, the route will only be the direct service available that connects the city. It will be serviced by Qantas’ Airbus A330.
Other services connecting Australia to Tokyo are Sydney-Tokyo, Brisbane-Tokyo, and Melbourne-Tokyo.

Air China Flies Direct to Athens

The Parthenon
Expect Chinese tourists invading Athens—this thanks to Air China’s direct to Athens flights, which will start on September 30.
The departure flight will leave Beijing on Wednesday and Saturday at 2:30 a.m. and arrive in Athens at 8: 15 a.m. Meanwhile the return flight will leave the Greek capital at 2:15 p.m. and arrive in China at 4:30 a.m.
Qatar Airways to Fly to Cardiff
Cardiff becomes better connected to the Middle East thanks to Qatar Airways’ newly launched Doha to Cardiff route, which will start on May 1, 2018.

To be serviced by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the flight will have 22 business class and 232 economy class seats.
