Qatar Airways Offers Yoga in the Clouds

If you thought squeezing yourself into an Economy Class seat when flying was challenge enough, wait until you try Qatar Airways’ ( onboard yoga program. Developed in collaboration with Indian-American wellness guru Deepak Chopra, the airlines’ new Fly Healthy, Fly Fit guide offers long-haul passengers advice and tips on how to perform yoga and meditation techniques while seated—belt firmly fastened, of course. There’s no  “downward facing dog” or “sun salutation,” but rather, a series of simple, easy postures outlined in step-by-step illustrations. With the incidence of air rage on the rise, anything that helps passengers chill out sounds good to us.
