Indonesian low-cost carrier Mandala Airlines is set to take to the skies again on April 5. The airline, which was grounded in January last year due to debt problems, has been cleared to fly following an investment from Singapore-based Tiger Airways. The budget carrier purchased a 33 percent stake in Mandala last month.

Mandala will adopt Tiger Airway’s low-cost model, using mostly Airbus A320 aircrafts to service both domestic and international destinations within a five-hour radius.
