With the introduction of its All-Time Favorites menu, Business Class travelers leaving from Singapore aboard SilkAir flights of three hours and above can tuck into a mouthwatering range of Asian and Western dishes. Passengers are entitled to book from 20 meal options up to 24 hours in advance, ensuring that the food is piping hot when it reaches their seats. The new menu reflects Singapore’s multicultural heritage, with dishes such as Hainanese Chicken Rice, Fried Hokkien Mee, Kal Dosai, and the Malay savory crepes known as Roti Jala all making an appearance.
Singapore Nasi Lemak, encompassing coconut-fragranced rice with omelette, otah otah, chicken, ikan bilis, and sambal, is just one of five choices on the Muslim-themed category. Indian delicacies include tandoori chicken—served with lemon basmati rice and mattar paneer curry—and masala fish biryani. Those who prefer Western meals can try blueberry pancakes, roasted salmon fillet in cilantro sauce with mushroom pasta, and grilled beef tenderloin plated up with truffle mashed potatoes.
Along with the brand new menu, SilkAir has also rolled out new refreshments and snacks for Business Class. Champagne, freshly squeezed orange juice, and masala tea are now available, while handmade chocolate pralines have been added for a sweet surprise.
