From September 7, Economy Class travelers flying with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) will be able to enjoy an extensive à la carte menu on long-haul flights for a surcharge, given that pre-orders are made at least 24 hours in advance. With six meal options that range from a platter of Swiss cold cuts and cheeses to a mouthwatering Japanese meal set that includes chicken teriyaki and dorayaki with azuki cake, SWISS passengers are truly spoiled for choice. In addition, customers can also opt to complement their chosen meal with a half-bottle of Californian Chardonnay or Italian Sangiovese. The new menu launch will further expand the airline’s existing range of in-flight Economy meals, which currently include vegetarian dishes made using recipes from the world-renowned Hiltl Restaurant.
