12 “Book Now, Stay Later” Offers in Bali

You can start planning for the post-pandemic holiday season while supporting the recovery of Bali’s tourism industry. One month-long package is even available from Rp 6.9 million (US$469).

Last year, a combined total of around 16 million visitors—6.2 million of whom were overseas arrivals— went on vacation in Bali. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, this figure has shrunk dramatically, forcing many companies on Indonesia’s favorite holiday island to go bankrupt, temporarily close, or lay off employees. But as we wait out the end of the outbreak, the traveling public can still help Bali’s hard-hit hospitality sector get back on its feet. Through “book now, stay later” promotions, a number of hotels are offering room vouchers at discounted prices, sometimes as low as 50 percent, to be used later when conditions are safe for travel.
