10 Travel Brands That are Saying Goodbye to Single-Use Plastics

These hotels, resorts, and cruises have committed to eliminating plastic junk as best as they can.

The commitment to keeping them out of sight and out of mind is a first step to saving our oceans.

You might have chanced upon viral videos or images of marine life injesting plastic junk, which have inevitably placed the spotlight on the environmental impact of plastic waste.

The culprits, more often than not, are plastic straws and bags, which easily make its way into the ocean due to its size and its inability to biodegrade.

In a growing trend that speaks volumes about the change in consumer attitude, various hotels, resorts, and hospitality-related brands are now either cutting down or completely eliminating the use of single-used plastic.

While plastic straws are but a part of the sheer volume of waste disposed each day, the commitment to keeping them out of sight and out of mind is a first step to saving our oceans.
