New Zealand: Tara Iti Golf Club
Designed by American golf architect Tom Doak—it’s his second New Zealand course after the acclaimed Cape Kidnappers in Hawkes Bay—Tara Iti lies less than 100 kilometers from Auckland amid the dunes north of Te Arai Point. Routed through a former pine plantation that has been cleared to reveal dramatic ocean vistas from every hole, its fescue surface and gusty conditions will provide a links-like experience when the course opens for play in October.
