If you only have 30 minutes…

Try: Sugar K LED & Microcurrent Cell Regeneration at Kew Organics

Take a breather from the festive crowds by slipping into Kew Organics for a quick 30 minutes of bliss. First, my skin was double cleansed with the Japanese Knotweed Coconut Hydra Cleanser—a purifying solution that didn’t strip my combination skin of its natural oils. This was followed by a generous slather of the Apple Stem Cell Vitaglow Serum, said to help address pigmentation concerns caused by environmental exposure. For the final step, the aesthetician massaged the contours of my face in upward motions with a device emitting red LED light, so as to stimulate collagen renewal. The result? Party-ready skin that’s visibly glowy and brighter.

Available exclusively at the newly refurbished Raffles Spa in Singapore, the Mikimoto Brightening Facial uses products that boost active ingredients of Vitamin C derivatives and Pearl Conchiorin. After a thorough cleanse, my skin was pampered with a moisturizing serum mask, while I enjoyed a relaxing shoulder massage. Then, a rubber mask was applied to help my skin soak up the whitening goodness as the aesthetician gave me a scalp massage. An hour later, my skin tone looked fairer and more even-toned. The cherry on top of it all? A light dusting of the Mikimoto precious pearl powder to give my skin a matte and healthy finish.

If you have an hour and a half…

Try: Gene Therapy Facial at Six Senses Maxwell’s Spa Pods

Eternal youth might be a pipe dream but younger-looking skin is certainly achievable with the Gene Therapy Facial at Six Senses Maxwell’s Spa Pods.  The 90-minute treatment utilizes The Organic Pharmacy products in a unique formulation of grape stem cells, plant peptides, hibiscus growth factor, retinol, and hyaluronic acid to target signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles. First, the aesthetician used suction cups to help lift facial tissue, resulting in a less puffy looking mien. Then, I was treated to a relaxing facial and shoulder massage where she used her skillful hands to massage my face in upward strokes, allowing my skin to soak up the various serums. In between, a gentle exfoliating scrub was applied to reveal brighter and firmer skin. Afterward, my skin felt incredibly pumped and smooth, with a more defined jawline.
