A Look at Oman Air’s First Class “Mini Suite”

The new suite will feature 1.4 meter-tall electronically controlled sliding doors, a dedicated wardrobe, a 22-inch TV screen, and more.

Privacy and comfort are just a few things passengers can expect from Oman Air’s new first-class suite, which was unveiled at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.

Outfitted on the carrier’s B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, these “fully enclosed, extra tall” suites come with 1.4 meter-tall electronically controlled sliding doors. Its 23-inch-wide seats have a pitch of 82 inches in the seating position, and a width of 30 inches and length of 76 inches in the fully-flat bed position.

The spacious suites will also include features such as a wardrobe and stowage for a carry-on bag, a one-piece meal table and a separate cocktail table, a chilled in-suite minibar, an ottoman with seatbelt for companion use, a 22-inch TV screen, touchscreen IFE handset, two USB ports, as well as a PC power point.

While the exact launch date for the new suite is yet to be confirmed, the carrier appears to be rolling it out in tandem with a fleet and network expansion program.
