Not all travels require booking a plane ticket and taking a few days off from work. For readers, a good book can almost magically take them on an adventure in new places, or, in the case of foodies, a dish cooked to perfection may just do the job. Starting August 24 to September 6, residents of Manila can enjoy a quick and tasty trip to China’s Szechuan province, as the Hyatt City of Dreams Manila kicks off its Szechuan Fair. Featuring aromatic, spicy dishes, from the unique to crowd favorites, chefs visiting from the Hyatt Regency Chongqing in China will be present throughout the two-week affair to offer guests local experience through a selection of Szechuan cuisine cooked in their true, original flavors.  The event will be held at one of the property’s dining venues, the Café, where a range of other international cuisine will also be served.
