State-of-the-art technology takes center stage at this brand new lifestyle resort, which is scheduled to open its doors in February. Thanks to Kandima’s waterproof RFID wristbands, the pain of having to carry around a room key and a wallet will soon be history. By simply scanning the bracelet over the reader, guests will be able to go cashless and dine at the resort’s food and beverage outlets with ease. Even more impressive is the Silverware AVRIO system, which generates menu recommendations based on past orders and purchases. Inside the guest rooms, the resort’s on-demand video service will be accessible from mobile devices, allowing guests to stream films from the comfort of their bed or even their private deck.

Scattered on palm-dotted grounds in the picturesque Dhaalu Atoll, the resort’s 274 studios and villas are fitted with eclectic furniture, playful decor pieces, vibrant artworks, and soothing shades of cyan. Panoramas of the Indian Ocean are featured in most of the guest quarters, which range from an overwater villa with a private pool to a beachfront unit that comes with a Jacuzzi.

On the dining front, the stylish property abounds with options: among the resort’s ten establishments are a waterfront restaurant serving up Mediterranean dishes, a market-style eatery called Flavour & Zest, a trendy beach club that’s destined to attract a millennial-heavy crowd, and a bakery offering Maldivian-inspired treats. In terms of recreational opportunities, visitors are in for a treat: archery lessons, pottery classes, water sports, yoga sessions, and cooking workshops are just some of the many activities that will be on offer.

Guests of the resort can enjoy various water sports activities.
