Considering more travelers are halting their holiday plans in light of the coronavirus pandemic, Air Asia has now extended its flexibility options for passengers who have booked flights on or before March 22 for travel between March 23 and May 31 this year.
The Malaysian low-cost airline said that customers can either change their flights or keep the value of their flight bookings into an account for future travel. Travelers are able to change to any new travel date before October 31 this year on the same route any time up to 48 hours before flight departure for unlimited times and without any additional costs due to seat availability.
Meanwhile, they can also retain the value of their booked flights in their Air Asia Big Member account for future travel. These have to be redeemed within 365 calendar days from the issuance date. According to the airline, the new travel booking can fall on any date with the published flight schedule on the airline’s website.
