AirAsia X Connects KL and Chongqing


AirAsia X has begun a four times−weekly service connecting Kuala Lumpur and Chongqing, making the airline the only carrier to connect the two cities. Debuted on February 13, this 3,001-kilometer service marks AirAsia X’s sixth destination in China after Hangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi’An.

To celebrate the inaugural flight, AirAsia X is offering discounted one-way airfare from Kuala Lumpur to Chongqing for US$94 in Economy Class and US$286 for business-class flatbed seats. Bookings must be made before February 22 for travel between February 23−June 30.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Departure from Kuala Lumpur D7 350 at 6:00 p.m., arriving in Chongqing at 10:20 p.m.
    Departure from Chongqing D7 351 at 11:55 p.m., arriving in Kuala Lumpur at 4:15 a.m. (next day)
