Low-cost carrier Air Asia X has debuted its Australian services, connecting the Thai capital of Bangkok to Brisbane, Australia. Travelers can expect to enjoy the nine-hour-and-20-minute journey in comfort as there’s also a Premium Flatbed option.
The airline’s Airbus A330 comes with 12 of these flatbed seat products in its forward cabin, each of which can recline into a lie-flat bed. Configured in a 2-2-2 format, these seats come with 149 centimeters of pitch and are 48 centimeters wide.
AirAsia X Group CEO Nadda Buranasiri said: “This new route to Brisbane will not only increase traffic between Thailand and Queensland, but importantly provide guests with a low-cost option to explore Bangkok and the more than 130 destinations found in AirAsia’s network.”
