Virgin Australia to launch Sydney-Hong Kong route in July

July 2 will be the launch date for Virgin Australia’s recently announced Sydney-Hong Kong service — the airline’s second route to Hong Kong, following the start of its nonstop flights to the city from Melbourne last July. The new route is set to be serviced by its Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which comes with 20 seats in business class and 255 seats in economy. The airline’s current daily Melbourne-Hong Kong service is also set to drop to a five-times-weekly service following the launch of the Sydney-Hong Kong route.
